Refund policy
REFUND & RETURN POLICY: ARTICO METALS

At Artico Metals, every piece we produce is custom-made or finished to order. Because of the bespoke nature and the extreme weight of our architectural metalwork, we do not accept returns or exchanges for "change of mind" or customer error.
Please review the following terms carefully before finalizing your order.
1. CUSTOM & BESPOKE SALES
All sales are final. Once an order is confirmed via email and production has begun, the item is non-refundable and non-returnable.

Specifications: It is the customer's responsibility to verify all dimensions, material types, and finishes in the final quote/invoice before payment.

Fitment: Artico Metals is not responsible if a custom item does not fit into a customer's space due to incorrect measurements provided by the customer.
2. ELIGIBILITY FOR REMEDY
We only offer a refund, repair, or replacement in the following two circumstances:
A. Manufacturer Error
If the product delivered does not match the specifications (dimensions, material, or design) explicitly agreed upon in the final written invoice/quote.

Notification: You must notify us at info@articometals.com within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs of the error.
B. Shipping Damage
If the product is damaged during transit by a third-party carrier.

Mandatory Action: Damage must be noted on the carrier's delivery receipt at the time of delivery (see our Shipping Policy).

Evidence: You must provide photos of the damaged packaging and the damaged product within 24 hours of receipt.

Resolution: In cases of shipping damage, we will work with the carrier to file a claim and will either repair or replace the item at our discretion.
3. EXCLUSIONS FROM REFUNDS
We do not offer refunds or returns for:

Natural Variations: Metal is a natural material. Variations in patina, texture, or slight surface imperfections that do not affect structural integrity are considered part of the artisanal character of the piece.

Corten Weathering: For products intended to rust (Corten steel), the speed and uniformity of the weathering process are dependent on environmental factors and are not grounds for a return.

Shipping Delays: We are not liable for refunds based on delays caused by third-party carriers or customs.
4. RETURN LOGISTICS (IF APPROVED)
In the rare event that a return is authorized due to a manufacturer error:

Authorization: No returns will be accepted without a written Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from Artico Metals.

Crating: The item must be secured in its original pallet/packaging. Due to the weight of our products, the customer may be responsible for securing the item for freight collection.

Shipping Costs: If the error is ours, Artico Metals will cover the return freight costs. If an unauthorized return is attempted, it will be refused at the customer's expense.
5. CANCELLATIONS
Orders may only be cancelled for a full refund if production has not yet started. Once materials have been sourced or fabrication has begun, a cancellation fee (up to 50% of the order value) may apply to cover labor and material costs.
