At Artico Metals, based in New Jersey, we specialize in custom fencing and paneling, including precision laser-cut designs. Selecting the right material is critical for durability, aesthetic appeal, and structural performance. Below is an overview of the high-performance metals and finishes we use to deliver lasting results.

Aluminum
We use Aluminum 5052-H32, a marine-grade alloy known for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and formability. This alloy performs exceptionally well in outdoor environments, including coastal and high-humidity areas, while remaining lightweight and easy to install. With a consistent 1/8" thickness, Aluminum 5052 provides reliable structural strength for large panels, while precision laser cutting and welding allow us to achieve clean, sharp edges. Its lightweight nature 40-60% lighter than steel-reduces structural load and makes handling and installation easier. Aluminum 5052 is also 100% recyclable, making it a sustainable choice for environmentally conscious projects.
This material is ideal for outdoor fencing, decorative panels, rooftop or elevated installations, and custom architectural accents, where a balance of strength, corrosion resistance, and visual appeal is essential.

Steel
Our primary steel option is A36 Hot Rolled Steel, Pickled & Oiled (P&O). The pickled and oiled process removes mill scale, leaving a smooth surface that is perfect for precision fabrication, laser cutting, and powder coating. A36 steel delivers high tensile strength and structural integrity, making it suitable for heavy-duty fencing, industrial applications, and custom supports.
This steel can be welded into custom frames, brackets, and supports, while its smooth surface ensures premium powder coating adhesion, resulting in long-lasting, visually appealing finishes. A36 steel is perfect for structural fence frames, security panels, and industrial fencing, combining both strength and versatility for commercial and residential projects.

Stainless Steel
We offer two grades of stainless steel to match your project requirements: 316 Stainless Steel for outdoor use and 304 Stainless Steel for indoor applications.
316 Stainless Steel is a marine-grade alloy with superior corrosion resistance, making it ideal for environments exposed to salt, moisture, or chemicals. It maintains a long-lasting finish and is particularly suited for coastal fencing, outdoor gates, and decorative panels, where durability in harsh conditions is essential.
304 Stainless Steel, on the other hand, is perfect for interior applications, offering a sleek, polished finish and excellent wear resistance. This grade is ideal for indoor partition panels, commercial lobbies, handrails, and decorative interior fencing, providing durability and elegance in high-traffic areas.
By offering both 316 and 304 options, we ensure that your materials are optimized for the environment, guaranteeing both longevity and performance for every project.
Corten Steel

Corten steel, also known as weathering steel, is valued for its ability to develop a protective rust patina when exposed to the elements. This natural patina not only shields the steel underneath but also creates a warm, industrial aesthetic that evolves over time.
Corten steel is ideal for outdoor fencing, gates, landscape walls, and sculptural or statement panels, providing a durable, low-maintenance solution with a visually striking finish. Its distinctive orange-to-brown tones make it a popular choice for both residential and commercial projects that require industrial style combined with longevity.
Powder coating
Powder coating enhances metals such as aluminum, steel, and stainless steel with a hard, long-lasting finish that protects against UV damage, scratches, and moisture. This finish is available in a wide variety of colors and textures, allowing you to achieve the exact look you want while extending the lifespan of your fencing or panels.
Powder coating is suitable for architectural fencing, decorative panels, and residential or commercial installations, providing a professional finish that is both functional and visually striking. It not only improves the aesthetic of the metal but also significantly enhances durability, ensuring your investment lasts for decades.
